The White House was put in lockdown on Saturday after a man shot themself outside at the North Lawn.
The Secret Service tweeted on Saturday that they were responding to the incident which occurred shortly after noon.
Media which were in place there tweeted that they were being told to shelter until further notice.

The president is at Mar-a-Lago for the weekend.

'No other reported injuries related to the incident,' the Secret Service tweeted.
The president has been in Mar-a-Lago with the First Lady and his son Barron since Friday.
